What is a
Zipper tie?

A zipper tie is essentially a regular tie with a permanent knot and a zipper mechanism inside it, which allows you to adjust the width of the neck accordingly - a great alternative to regular school ties.

Adjusting zipper ties is an easy process!

  • Slip the zip neck tie over your head.
  • Take hold of the inner tail of the tie and the knot.
  • Once you have done so, you can slide the zipper up, by holding the tail firmly and sliding the knot up to a comfortable position at your neck.
  • With the tie in place, the zipper will remain in that fixed position with an easily controllable yet firm grip.
  • You always have a perfect knot with Australian Zipper ties!

    Australian Zipper Ties is owned and operated by Williamson International, a 100% Australian, Brisbane based, family owned and operated manufacturer & supplier, with over 45 years’ experience in the design and manufacture of school & corporate uniforms. The Australian Zipper Tie brand is the latest addition to brands currently manufactured by Williamson International, which include Welborne Corporate Image, The Uniform Company & OzKnit.

    Australian Zipper Ties provides a range of stock line Zipper Ties in a selection of standard plain colours which are commonly used by Schools and Pony Clubs. We are a wholesale supplier of School & Corporate Neckwear to customers across Australia and offer a wide range of products at competitive prices.

    In addition to the range of Stock Line Ties we carry we also supply Custom Made ties for School & Corporate customers, these are available in your stripe combination, or with your company or school logo woven into the tie. There is a large selection of colours available allowing us to match to your schools’ or companies colours. In addition to Zipper Ties we also provide standard Men’s Ties, Girls Button-on Ties and Ladies Scarves.

    FAQs

    For orders with an order value over $1000 excluding GST, goods will be delivered for free, orders under $1000 will be charged freight at $25 per box. Unfortunately we are unable to offer FIS to customers in remote or isolated parts of the country or international orders, but we will provide you with the best freight options available from our carriers.

    Exchanges

    • Stock Line - Australian Zipper Ties can be exchanged for another colour or size if available.
    • Custom Made - Australian Zipper Ties cannot be exchanged as these have been made to order.
    • Contact your Account Manager to arrange for a Return Authority code, then print out a Return Address Label from our downloads section and complete the details, including the RA code you were supplied, and then forward the garments to the address listed on the label.
    • Return freight for Exchanged items will be charged to the customer.

    Faulty Product / Returns

    We try to ensure that all products are of a high quality prior to be dispatched from our warehouse, however if this rare circumstance does occur please follow the procedure below.

    • Contact your Account Manager to arrange for a Return Authority code, then print out a Return Address Label from our downloads section and complete the details, including the RA code.
    • Contact your Account Manager once the goods are ready to be collected and we will arrange the collection of the goods.
    • We will inspect the goods once they have been received and consult with the supplier.
    • If the goods are found to be faulty and this is a manufacturing fault we will offer you a full replacement or refund.
    • If the goods are not faulty they will be returned to you at your expense.

    All claims must be advised within 7 days of receipt of the goods; claims after this period will not be recognized.

    Stock Zipper Ties

    MOQ for stock ties are 10  - multiple colours can be chosen.

    Custom Ties

    We have standard stripes available at a MOQ of 50 and Jacquard ties available at a MOQ of 100 for the initial order and 50 for repeat orders.
